Our wash and fold service handles your daily laundry from start to finish, separating whites and colors, washing in cold or warm water by color, drying at the proper temperature, and returning everything to you crisply folded and ready to put away. Premium eco-friendly detergents and hypoallergenic soap are standard on every order, and you may choose any soap you would like used for your laundry. Hang Dry is offered for anything that needs to air-dry. Free pickup and delivery is available with a $25 minimum order, or you can drop off at any of our three locations in Scarsdale, Ardsley, and Washington Heights.

What's included with wash and fold

Every wash and fold order is handled start to finish by the Sophie's Cleaners team. Garments are washed according to your selected preferences and returned to you crisply folded, using only hypoallergenic soaps. Premium eco-friendly detergents are standard on every order, and whites and colors are always separated.

Washing is done in cold or warm water, according to colors. Whites are bleached if you request it. After washing, your items are dried at the proper temperature.

Wash and fold is meant for your everyday laundry, the clothing and garments you would normally wash at home. Hand it off to us instead of sorting, washing, drying, and folding it yourself, and pick it up ready to put away.

Pickup and delivery

Free pickup and delivery is available for wash and fold with a $25 minimum order. Instead of dropping off, you can schedule pickup and delivery, and we bring your finished laundry back to you folded and ready to put away.

If you need to cancel a pickup and delivery order, cancel at least one hour in advance. You can also drop off your laundry at any of our three locations: 22 Garth Rd in Scarsdale, 800 Saw Mill River Rd in Ardsley, or 836 W 181st St in Washington Heights.

Are the detergents you use eco-friendly?

Yes. Premium eco-friendly detergents are standard on every wash and fold order, and hypoallergenic soap is available. You may also choose any soap you would like used for your laundry. Just let us know your preference when you drop off or schedule pickup, and we will use the soap you select.

Can you hang dry items instead of putting them in the dryer?

Yes. For items that just need to air-dry after a wash cycle, we offer a Hang Dry option so they are not run through the dryer. When you drop off or schedule pickup, let us know which items should be Hang Dried and we will handle them accordingly.

Do you separate whites and colors?

Yes. Separating whites and colors is included with every wash and fold order. Whites are bleached if you request it, and washing is done in cold or warm water according to color. Items are then dried at the proper temperature and returned to you crisply folded.
